Rushhour-ads.com Scam

We stumbled upon Rushhour-ads while searching for pay-per-call offers/leads and understood that it is some kind of an affiliate network that provides or buys media.

At first, everything seemed to be fine, normal product pricing, close relationship and attention. We decided to give them a chance and wired 2,700$. After 2 days of testing, we decided to switch the pricing model, from duration to raw.

Both Georg Hicks (the account manager) and James Russell (CEO) agreed to the new pricing model and we re-launched the campaign. After a few days, we paused the campaign in order to analyze the results and plan the next campaign.

Suddenly, George decided that he wants to price all days according to the first model, meaning billing us retroactive for extra money and disrespecting the new deal we all agreed on, claiming the first contract has different terms.

As an experienced player at the online marketing field, I knew that  I have no need or will to work with a company that try to scam it’s clients for a few hundred dollars. I asked George politely to send me back the money we did not spend yet and he refused, claiming that nowhere at the IO, there’s a section that says he needs to refund any left over.

From his attitude and the way he talked, I understood that I’m communicating with an unexperienced small scammer, so I contacted James the CEO, claiming that his account manager refuses to send my money back to me. He apologized for Geroge’s behavior and promised he will take care of that.

After a few days, I tried to catch up with him, but the answer I got was that there’s not enough money to wire back (a lie - there was around 1,500$ left).

After 2 weeks of no response, I understood that Rushhour-ads, scammed me and stole the 1,500$ that I had left at the account.

As serious warning for all of you that think about working with this company or these guys, don’t!!!

Not only that they are scammers, they are not professional at all.
